The corporate structure of MIRAX GROUP is geared as much as possible to western management standards for major corporations. Strategic management responsibilities are vested in the Board of Directors.

Co-Founders of MIRAX GROUP

Sergei Polonsky, Chairman of the Board of Directors of MIRAX GROUP In 1994, Sergei Yurievich Polonsky co-founded the business that has evolved into the current MIRAX GROUP. Under Mr. Polonsky’s guidance, the company secured a footing in Moscow’s market in 2000 and has since grown to become a strong, multi-specialized corporation. A member of many governmental and non-government associations, including the Entrepreneurs’ Council under the Mayor and City Hall of Moscow, and the Business Russia, Mr. Polonski  is a graduate of St. Petersburg State University of Architecture and Construction, with a degree in Economics and Management, specializing in Business Administration in Construction.  Mr. Polonsky currently holds the graduate degree of Candidate Doctor of Economics. Named by the government as an Honorary Builder of Russia, Mr. Polonski holds many honorific titles and awards, including Russia’s Glory Order for his outstanding contribution towards the revival and continuity of the great tradition of private enterprise in Russia; Person of the Year 2005 award; Honorary Builder of Russia symbol; Honor and Courage Order; a personal Gold Medal, Diploma and Symbol of France’s National Association for Industry Support; Vozrozhdenie Order of public recognition; Excellence in Service symbol; title of Entrepreneur of the Decade; national 200 Years of the Interior Ministry of Russia medal; and Construction Olympus 2002 award in the ‘CEO of a Closed-Cycle Construction Group’ category. In 2005, Mr. Polonsky co-founded the Russian Builders’ Association (www.a-s-r.ru), of which he is currently Senior Vice President. One of the youngest top managers in Moscow’s construction industry, Mr. Polonski was born on December 1, 1972, in St. Petersburg. Artur Kirilenko, President, Stroimontazh, Cofounder of MIRAX GROUP In 1994, Mr. Kirilenko teamed up with Sergei Polonsky to found Stroymontazh Corporation in St. Petersburg. In 2000 through 2003, while Sergei Polonsky worked to develop the corporation’s business in Moscow, Mr. Kirilenko, standing at the helm of St. Petersburg’s leading property development company, was the first property developer in Russia to take its business to Western Europe. He also has several ongoing projects in Paris. Mr. Kirilenko’s awards include the Andrei Rubliov Medal 1st Class and a commemorative medal for the 300th Anniversary of St. Petersburg. He sits on the Advisory Council for Urban Planning at St. Petersburg City Hall, and is a permanent member of the board of the Northwest Association for the Construction Industry. Hermitage, Mr. Kirilenko’s French-based company, is a member of the French Developers’ Association and an honorary member of the Isle de France Mayors’ Association. Storymontazh, led by Artur Kirilenko, is currently in the process of introducing St. Petersburg to a completely new development concept, while continuing its international business rollout. Born on June 22, 1972, Mr. Kirilenko graduated with High Honors from St. Petersburg State University of Architecture. Mr. Kirilenko is a Candidate, Doctor of Economics, and holds the title of Honorary Builder of Russia.
